The association Iceland-Palestine strives for Icelanders contributing in solidarity with the fight for a free Palestine.

Our goals are:

- To support the struggle of the Palestinian people against the occupation and for the right to self-determination and the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland.

- To promote the culture and public life of the Palestinian people.

- To work against apartheid and any form of discrimination based on origin, descent or religion.

- Working to ensure that the Icelandic government supports the right of the Palestinian people to establish a viable, independent and sovereign state.

- Advocating that Icelanders contribute to a just and peaceful solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on international law and the United Nations Convention on Human Rights and with regard to all UN conventions related to the conflict.

- The company has been operating since 1987 and has worked towards its goals, i.a. through publishing activities, holding meetings, volunteering in Palestine, concerts, outdoor meetings, film screenings, selling merchandise from Palestine and raising money to support various Palestinian humanitarian and relief organizations.

- The association has also brought a number of speakers to this country to present the issues of Palestine and strives to influence the government's policy regarding the issues of Palestine.
