The Foster Parents Association is a network of nearly 300 households that open their homes and hearts to children placed with them in permanent, short-term, or supported foster care. At any given time, there are over 500 children in foster care in Iceland, ranging in age. To meet their diverse needs, the group of foster families is varied, and their homes and families are flexible.
